Pledge
Here at Ecoworks we pledge to pursue best practice in accordance with the United Nations Agenda 21 initiative. Additionally, for every project we undertake, we pledge to:
Use 100% solar power.
Use 100% recycled paper/board.
Plant a deciduous tree.
Wherever possible, use, support and develop locally-based technologies.
Notes for sceptics
Consider, if you will, all the energy extracted from fossil fuels since the industrial revolution began and then consider that there is more energy than that reaching the earth from the sun in a single day.
Our undertakings shouldn't be regarded as tokenism or simply a publicity stunt. They are purely an extension of the way the residents of Springstone have lived their lives for the past 20 years and present a real opportunity for you to choose to use a service running entirely on energy from renewable sources.
Using locally-based best practice technologies you actively support local jobs, native innovation and the home economy, stimulate the growth and further development of such technologies and do not contribute to the global pollution caused by global transportation.
So, for maximum impact go for minimum environmental impact. In fact, if you use our services you'll even be in credit - a tree will go on soaking up CO2 for decades to come.
Ecoworks - long term thinking.
