Events From time to time we have events here on a small scale, normally to do with solstices or equinoxes. or musicians trying out new songs before they tour. We normally hire in a marquee and erect it over the standing stone - this certainly makes for a unique ambience and apparently is 'cool'. We have a PA system and a small lighting rig so we can have a reasonable party - charitable donations for the home brewed wines and beers are expected. Being that there are no street lights or light pollution of any kind for miles, celestial events (atmospheric conditions allowing) can be quite spectacular here. The more telescopes the merrier. We can of course supply clean power from renewable energy to use at these events.
